Sunday

- Enjoy your Sunday newspaper
Monday

- Put your newspaper out to be recycled through your doorstep service
- May Gurney Environmental Services collects your recyclable materials including newspapers, glass, cans and textiles and sorts them out on the recycling trucks.
- May Gurney Environmental Services trucks take the materials to their depot and they are stored, awaiting collection.
Tuesday

- The newspaper is collected from May Gurney's depot and taken to Aylesford Newsprint.
Tuesday - Thursday

- Newspaper is fed into ‘giant’ pulpers.
- In the preparation plant the pulp is broken up, cleaned and any ink is removed.
- It goes onto a paper making machine, passing over presses and drying cylinders, at 60 miles per hour, to produce 100% recycled newsprint.
Friday
- Aylesford deliver the Renaissance recycled neprint to publishers throughout Europe.
- The jumbo reels weigh approximately 40 tonnes and are 9.2 metres wide.
Saturday

- Newspapers are printed using ‘Renaissance’ newsprint.
Sunday
The newspaper is delivered to your newsagent and back in your hands in time for breakfast.
