What can I recycle in Barnet using the Household Waste Recycling Centre service?

We DO collect:

Batteries

Please keep household batteries together in a tied up bag.

Bicycles

 

Books

Novels, picture books.

Cans

Food tins and drinks cans - please rinse and flatten if possible

Cardboard

Cardboard boxes and packaging. Please flatten and bundle.

Timber

Clean solid timber only.

Clothes

Dry clothes only.

Computer Disks

Engine Oil

Stand upright in sealed containers. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands.

Fluorescent Tubes

Garden waste that can be composted.

Gas Bottles

Domestic sizes only.

General Waste

The centre also accepts general domestic waste

Green, brown or clear bottles and jars - please wash food jars and remove caps and lids.

We accept emulsion, gloss, eggshell, undercoat, primer, masonry and exterior paint.

Paper

Newspapers, magazines, junk mail, telephone directories. Please bundle your paper or put it in a carrier bag.
