Household Refuse

Collection Domestic refuse is collected weekly from individual households and communal properties.

Refuse should be left at the edge of your property, tied in black sacks, before 7 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled collection day or at the earliest, the evening before. Please do not leave your refuse out before this to help to reduce the opportunity for the bags to be damaged and also to discourage scavenging by animals. If you are unable to take your refuse sacks to the front of your property please contact the Ealing Call Centre on 020 8825 6000 or customers@ealing.gov.uk to arrange an alternative collection point.

For further information see http://www.ealing.gov.uk/services/environment/refuse_collection/.

To dispose of sharp objects or broken glass, please ensure these are properly wrapped to avoid injury to the collectors. The refuse collection service should not be used to dispose of glass jars and bottles, clean paper, food and drinks cans, textiles, shoes, tin foil, yellow pages, car and household batteries, or engine oil. These items should be placed in or beside your green recycling box. See Recycle from Home section for details
