The recovered steel goes to become a variety of steel products such as car doors, fridge panels, construction steel etc. Aluminium from the cans goes to Novelis - seehttp://www.novelis.com/Internet/en-US/Sustainability/Recycling/ and also http://www.thinkcans.com/ who make a 27t ingot which is then rolled into sheeting for new cans. |
