London Borough of Waltham Forest in partnership with May Gurney Environmental Services provides lots of opportunities for you to recycle and reuse a wide range of materials at the Civic Amenity and Recycling Centres.

Where are the centres?

South Access Road
Walthamstow

(via Markhouse Avenue, near Low Hall Manor Business Centre)
South Access Road is for mixed, bulky household waste and recyclables

Kings Road
Chingford
E4
(near Pimp Hall)
Kings Road is for sorted, household recyclable waste only.

When are they open?

The opening hours are:

Open every day of the year, except on 25 December and 26 December
Open from 8.30am-5.15pm.
Kings Road is for sorted, household recyclable waste only.

Trade Waste and Vans/Pickups/Trailers

This site does NOT accept trade waste.
If you intend to use a van please call 020 8509 3664 at least 24 hours prior to visiting the site. Vans are only allowed to the site between 8:30am and 4pm Monday to Saturday.
